On this three hour bike tour of Amsterdam we focus on the hidden gems of the city. We discover those parts Amsterdam that are just off the beaten track and remain unknown for others. This bike tour is more then a sightseeing tour on wheels. It’s the perfect way to get to know the real Amsterdam.
To ensure a personal and high quality bike tour we always keep our groups small (max 11 persons, usually less). This gives you the chance to actually get to know us and to ask us all your questions. It gives us the chance to actually get to know you and to give you the attention you need.
City Bike Tour: The Itinery
This tour starts from our office at Spuistraat 30, close to central station. Ride your bike through the historic canal district of Amsterdam, cycle alongside the canals and cross the city ‘s bridges.
Visit the former head office of the Dutch West-Indian Company and learn about the history of 17th century Amsterdam. Enjoy cycling though the quiet backstreets of the picturesque Jordan quarter and discover the many hidden gems and secret courtyards of this area.
Join us for a short coffee (or beer! 🙂 ) break halfway through in a local Amsterdam café. A great moment to relax, use facilities and get to know your guide. Ask us your questions and follow us to the famous Vondelpark for a bike ride through Amsterdam ‘s most beautiful park. Visit Museum square, see the concert hall, the Van Gogh Museum and cycle straight through the building of the National Rijksmuseum!

The city bike tour takes about 3 hours. Amsterdam is the most bike friendly city in the world and we cycle through town at a leisurely pace. Riding a bicycle in Amsterdam is safe and easy but only for those who know how to ride a bike. We explain traffic rules and lead you through the city in a safe way but please note that you got to know how to ride a bike before you hop on one.
